Slow art for busy lives

Handmade linocut prints

Handmade linocuts, printed at a kitchen table in The Hague. Each print is a small reminder to pause.. and notice what's already there.

My prints are quiet, subtle, and a little stubborn about taking up space on your wall. They're for people who like to step back from the daily rush. To breathe, relax and notice the world around you. Small moments you can only truly enjoy when present in the moment.

With my work, I hope to pass some of that calm energy on to you.

About the maker

I'm Heleen, printmaker, writer, and firm believer in the power of doing one thing slowly. In a world drenched in scrolling, multitasking and rushing that rare quiet moment gets even more important.

After years of working behind a screen, I found my way back to making things slowly and deliberately. Linocut gave me exactly that.

There's something about carving a block by hand that forces you to quiet the mind and to be present.I print from my kitchen table in The Hague, using hand-carved lino blocks and different kinds of ink.

All prints are made for that corner of your room that could use a little calm.
